Mirrors and window glass are accepted at Rocky Road Recycling for recycling for a small fee. Please contact Rocky Road Recycling at 204-832-7802 for additional information.

 

Glass jars and bottles can be recycled through the city's Blue box recycling program.

 

Grass Clippings

Grass clippings will keep your lawn and garden healthy and reduces the amount of yard waste entering landfills.

 

Grease: Cooking Oil

Cooking oil should not be poured down a drain. Contact Rothsay Recycles at 204- 233-7347 to donate or recycle your used cooking oil.

 

If you want to dispose it, please put the used cooking oil in a container with a tight sealing lid and place it in the garbage.

 

Grocery Bags

Safeway accepts plastic grocery bags for recycling at retail locations.

 

In addition, Winnipeg Harvest is calling on Winnipeggers to donate used grocery bags.

 

Guns

Contact your local precinct for proper disposal.
