MANITOBA ECOCALENDAR
A component of Green Manitoba’s education and outreach program, Manitoba EcoCalendar promotes positive behaviour changes by providing easy and convenient access to sustainable-living ideas in a 12-month calendar that is free to the public.
The calendar creates awareness around recycling, waste minimization, energy efficiency, water stewardship and climate change in Manitoba. It provides information on low- and no-cost green shifts and encourages Manitobans to live more sustainably by highlighting simple ways to help protect the environment at home, work and play.
The calendar’s full-page monthly layout makes it practical for scheduling appointments, meetings and family activities. In addition to featuring local, national and international environmental events, the Manitoba EcoCalendar includes Manitoba-specific holidays, such as Manitoba Day and Louis Riel Day, as well as all major Canadian holidays.
Since 2009, Green Manitoba has produced and distributed over half a million calendars to communities of all sizes in Manitoba.
